Be prepared

  • The North-South trail is an all-weather trail however, please make sure you have suitable clothes for significant weather changes. A thermal and waterproof packet are a good idea! For every 100 metres of altitude, the temperature drops about one degree.
  • It's important to be self-sufficient on these rides, as with all MTB riding. Don't forget spares, snacks, and water! Mount Wellington usually has good phone coverage should you get into trouble.
  • '000' is Australia's emergency number.

Cancellations due to poor weather

The road to The Springs is occasionally closed due to bad weather. If the weather forecast is such that a road closure is likely, all bookings will be contacted and customers will be offered credit or a refund.
