Testimonial

Tour review from Carolyn and Joe from the USA, who completed a 9 day tour with us in April 2019.

"I COULDN'T HAVE DREAMED OF BETTER EXPERIENCE OR TOUR COMPANY...

I am spoiled for life! I am certain there can't be a better tour company on Earth. Our nine day itinerary was custom planned with full days with a plethora of varied trails that always kept things exciting, and scenery that highlighted Tasmania's beauty.

Phil knew how to make the long hours riding around Tasmania in the van engaging with his continual laugh out loud stories as well as sharing interesting history and facts about the areas we were traveling. He has mastered the art of story telling. I don't think I have ever laughed so much in a day.

The rides were so varied, and the hikes showed off the best that Tasmania has to offer.

Phil is a terrific servant leader, a fantastic communicator, a great listener, and planner. Rich, his sidekick and often behind the scenes helper, is a great addition to the operation.
This was my favorite vacation ever!!!"

Overview

This will be the 3rd time Shonny has come and joined us on tour. She has raced in every continent in the world (except Antarctica) and she believes the trails in Tasmania are the best she has ever ridden!!!

Starting in the state's capital city, Hobart, we will take 11 days to complete a circuit travelling from the South, up the East coast, across the North, before heading down the midlands to finish back in Hobart. Along the way you will explore this beautiful state on bike, foot and bus. You will get to take in some of the most magnificent National Parks, wilderness areas and mountain bike trails! What this Island has to offer will blow you away!

The accommodation will be a mixture of Airbnb’s or motels, a penitentiary and glamping (all camping gear supplied-including very warm sleeping bags!).

You will ride for six full days and 2 half days, with lots of opportunities to take a break and skip a
ride if you need to. It will also include a couple of unforgettable short walks in national parks.

All breakfasts will be provided. Lunches and dinners will be available for you to purchase at a venue pre-organised.

You can expect opportunities to sample plenty of Tasmania’s amazing food on offer and explore some spectacular wild wilderness trails that few know exist!

Your guides are locals, and Phil’s been riding this state for 25 years and will take you to some breathtaking wilderness.

Between rides you will travel on a modern and comfortable 14-seater bus with a fully enclosed/lockable trailer to keep your steed safe and stone chip free.

Along the way, you can expect to ride some of the best single track on the planet, at Derby. Derby is the only Australian MTB destination to host a round of the Enduro World Series, which it has hosted twice!

Just when you think it can’t get any better, we will take you to a small island off Tasmania’s coast where we will walk, ride and get really close to some of Australia’s favourite wild animals - kangaroo’s, wallabies and wombats (plus more)! We'll do a night ride there and we might just get lucky enough to see a Tasmanian Devil!

The final day will be at Maydena Mountain Bike Park. This has a gravity fall of 820 meters and has over 60 trails to chose from! For those not gravity park inspired, Mount Field national park is a stones throw away or maybe you would rather visit MONA (Museum of Old and New Art), or just spend the day exploring Hobart.

We look forward to making this one of your best holidays EVER!!!
