Sold Out - 5 Day Derby Tour - Tasmanian Mountain Bike Adventures with guest guide from 'Spoke N Trail', Noosaville. 22 - 27 April 2020

This tour has been put together by Tasmanian Mountain Bike Adventures with a guest guide from the 'Spoke N Trail' bike shop, Noosaville. Jimmy Dawson owns and runs the Mountain Bike Shop 'Spoke N Trail' in Noosaville, Queensland. Both Jimmy and Phi from TasMBA are well respected MTB buisness owners, qualified MTB coaches, experienced guides and Jimmy is a bike mechanic as well. We look forward to bringing together riders from both the Sunshine coast and other areas in Australia for 5 days of world class riding at Derby Tasmania. Derby is already one of the worlds premier riding destinations with the World Enduro Series being hosted there for the second time and the only two times ever in Australia! 

For those flying out of Brisbane, we recommend that you take the Jetstar flight departing at 5pm and arriving at Launceston airport at 7.35pm. Jimmy will join you on that flight. Phil will meet you at Launceston airport on your arrival.

Others not flying out of Brisbane or on a different day could also meet us at the airport or organise with Phil another pick up point. Phil will be driving from Hobart to Launceston departing around 4.30pm if anyone wants to join him from Hobart.

The flight out Launceston that we recommend for those flying back to Brisbane is 8.05pm on Monday the 27th April (arriving Brisbane at 10.25pm).

The itinerary is:

• 22 April: Jetstar-Brisbane 5pm – Arrives
  Launceston 7.35pm. Airport Pickup and drive direct to accommodation at
  the Dorset Hotel in Derby.
• 23 April: Breakfast at accommodation. Construct bikes. Ride Derby trails. Unlimited shuttles to Black Stump. Lunch at a cafe in Derby. Dinner at a local venue.
• 24 April: Breakfast at accommodation. Shuttle to Blue Tier (19km ride). Lunch at Weldborough Hotel. Shuttle to Atlas trail head. Ride trails back to Derby (approx. 14km). Dinner at a local venue.
• 25 April:  Breakfast at accommodation. Ride Derby trails. Unlimited shuttles to Black Stump. Lunch at a cafe in Derby. Dinner at a local venue.
• 26 April: Breakfast at accommodation. Shuttle to Blue Tier to ride the first 13 km of the East Coast trail. Get picked up and shuttled back to the top of Blue Tiers to ride Blue Tiers and Atlas. Late lunch at Weldborough Hotel
  
• 27 April: Breakfast at accommodation. Black Stump shuttles until lunchtime. Wash and pack bikes.Shower before heading back to Launceston for early dinner at around 5pm. Airport drop off around 6.30pm.(Jetstar-8.05pm, Arrive Bris. 10.25pm - direct flight)
