March 2 (Monday)

  • Our minibus and trailer will collect guests from Launceston Airport around 2.45pm. Ensure you book your flights to fit in with this pick up.
  • (Guest travelling from Perth - depart Perth at 5.20am Virgin, arrive Launceston at 2.15pm (1 stop in Melbourne)
  • Drive to accommodation in Derby
  • Settle into accommodation
  • Build bikes
  • Go to dinner at a local venue
March 3 (Tuesday)
  • Breakfast at accommodation

  • Ride local trails - We'll ride the Lakeside trail first to test the bikes are set up, before hitting the huge network of trails beginning at Black Stump, which we will shuttle.
  • We will run shuttles to Black Stump until you have had enough! Riders can call it a day and return to
    accommodation/cafes/explore Derby whenever they wish.
  • Lunch and dinner at a local venue
March 4 (Wednesday)
  • Breakfast at Accommodation
  • Full day ride: Shuttle to Blue Tiers to do the new 44km trail to St Helens on the East Coast (opens this December). Bus will meet us at the other end to pick us up and return us to Derby. If time
    prevails, we could have a little look around the east coast as well. There will be one mid point with vehicle access should we need it.
  • Dinner most likely on East Coast or Weldborough.
March 5 (Thursday)
  • Breakfast at accommodation
  • Resume riding the massive network of trails in Derby
  • Black Stump shuttle day
  • Lunch and dinner at a local venue
March 6 (Friday)
  • Early Breakfast at Accommodation and pack up
  • Shuttle to Blue Tiers for 19km ride to Weldborough for lunch
  • Shuttle to Atlas for 14km ride back to Derby (optional ride, bus will go back to Derby for those that need the afternoon off).
  • Shower and drive to Hobart
  • Dinner along the way
  • Arrive at accommodation in Hobart
March 7 (Saturday)
  • Breakfast at accommodation
  • Depart Hobart at 8am for Maydena MTB Park

  • Drive to Maydena MTB for the parks opening and
    first shuttle at 9.30am
  • The park has over 60 trails for all abilities…lots to ride!!! The starting point is
    at an elevation of 820 meters but also has a mid point drop off.
  •  Lunch at MTB Park
  • Last shuttle at 4pm
  • Back to Hobart for dinner
  • Drop off at accommodation
March 8 (Sunday)
  • Breakfast at Ginger Brown (one of Hobart's best cafes)

  • Drive to the top of Mt Wellington (if it is clear) to take in spectacular views.
  • Either ride down to the Springs or take the bus to the Springs which is the trail head for the North South Track.
  • Ride North South Trail

  • Lunch at Hobart waterfront

  • Lots of options for local afternoon rides or airport drop offs for those flying out. (Please don't book a flight before 2.30pm)
  • Tour ends late afternoon 
  • If you require an additional nights accommodation-either organise yourself and we will drop you off there or let us know and we will book an extra night for you.

March 9 (Monday)

For those opting for the extra night in Hobart. We will run courtesy shuttles to the airport for you (unless your accommodation offers this service).
