North-South Track Into Glenorchy MTB Park

The North-South Track is suitable for mountain bike riders of intermediate ability. For the more advanced riders, there are some more challenging features located on side loops, including log rides, drops, and jumps.

It's mostly downhill, though there is a short climb in the first section of the trail. The 11km trail flows into Glenorchy MTB Park, where there are more trails to ride - flow, tech, berms, and jump lines.

Trail navigation: Trails signs throughout the trail and at the bike park, pretty straightforward to navigate.

Climbing Up The North-South Track

On a manual bike, this climb is not for the faint hearted; good climbing legs are essential and there are some moderately technical sections.

On an e-bike, the electric motor can take all the pain out of this climb, if you choose to. It's fun and challenging ride. For a good work out, use minimal pedal assistance.

Ride From The Springs to Cascade Brewery

This route is a sequence of 8-10 mainly intermediate descending trails, linked together with fire trails. The ride takes between 60-90 minutes and is 11-16 km. There are also opportunities to loop back, as well as options to explore other trails. Expect a few climbs on the fire trails.

Trail navigation: There are trail signs at the start of each trail. We strongly advise using Trailforks to help link up the sequence of trails.
